I have lived with anxiety and depressive episodes for most of my adult life. There have been times when I am fine, times when I was able to struggle through, and times I could not leave my house. Determined to get better, I tried many things.
These included counselling, CBT, medications, herbal remedies and even visiting a psychic! I dread to think how much time and money I have invested in these over the years. Some of these helped for a while, but not in the long term. I really thought I could get better, but that this would be a long painful slog.
I’d never heard of THRIVE, I was looking to try hypnotherapy (one of the few things that I hadn’t tried lol) and Diane’s page came up on my online search. When I first met with Diane I thought she was a lovely lady, but some of the THRIVE claims sounded too good to be true.
The THRIVE course was just six weeks long, and all I had to do was go through the booklet and complete the exercises. After three weeks I felt calmer. After six weeks I no longer needed my anxiety medications, for the first time in over ten years. It’s now over twelve weeks since I started and I feel like a different person. I have run a 5k race, started sleeping properly, seen a massive improvement in all my relationships at work and at home, and am looking forward to my future. A few months ago I would never have imagined making future plans, let alone looked forward to them!
People say “if something sounds too good to be true, then it usually is” That is not the case with THRIVE.
