Jane (and her daughter Ellis)

Client consulting with daughter who is terrified of all animals:
I thought I would email you to let you know how Ellis was getting on with cats/dogs since we visited you just before Easter.
We are very pleased with the progress that Ellis is making and she is very proud of herself. The uncontrollable hysteria around cats/dogs seems to have stopped and she is getting more confident having them near her. She is yet to allow for one to walk by her indoors yet, but on the occasions we have visited people with pets she has wanted to stroke them while they are held and she will sit with a grown up when the animal is on the room.
Considering she used to scream if they were simply in the next room – progress has definitely been made!
I am hoping she will eventually take no notice of the animals and be able to walk by them when in the same room, but Ellis has said she wants to take it one step at a time – and we agree!
Thank you so much for your help – it’s really made a difference.
More progress since my last message – Ellis was at a picnic last week at the park and a dog ran straight over to her on the picnic rug. According to my friend who was with her she didn’t bat an eyelid! Brilliant.
